About this experience

What this experience is This is a compact Segway route through Granada’s Albaicín and Sacromonte area. The route is designed for travelers who want a short, active overview of Granada without a long walking tour, with training, helmet, guide support, and stops for views and local context. It works well before dinner, between visits, or when you want a focused introduction to the hills without spending half a day on the route. Why book with Play Granada Play Granada has been operating local tours in Granada since 2003. For a Segway tour, that experience matters: correct training, safe pacing, realistic route choices, and guides who know how to move through historic streets with mixed pedestrians, slopes, viewpoints, and narrow corners. This is not just a vehicle rental. It is a guided route with instruction, local knowledge, and practical support from start to finish. What you’ll do Meet at the Play Granada office near Plaza Nueva. Complete a short Segway training and safety briefing before leaving. Ride toward the Albaicín with your guide managing the route and pace. Stop at selected viewpoints facing the Alhambra and the old city. Continue through characteristic streets and hillside areas toward Sacromonte when conditions allow. Return to the starting area after the guided loop. The exact route may change depending on traffic, events, crowds, weather, and guide judgment. What’s included Segway Helmet Training and safety briefing Local guide Guided route through the Albaicín and Sacromonte area What’s not included Food and drinks Hotel pickup or drop-off Personal expenses Meeting point Meet at the Play Granada office: Carrera del Darro, 1, 18010 Granada, near Plaza Nueva and Santa Ana Church. Please arrive 10 minutes before the scheduled departure so we can complete the training and start on time. Duration, pace, and requirements The tour lasts about 1 hour. Segways make Granada’s hills easier, but riders must be able to stand comfortably, balance, brake, and follow guide instructions in city streets. This activity is not recommended during pregnancy or for guests with mobility limitations that make standing/balancing unsafe. What to bring Comfortable clothes Closed-toe shoes Water, especially in warm weather Sunglasses or sunscreen in summer A light layer in cooler months Cancellation and changes Cancellation and change conditions depend on the rate and booking channel used. Please check the conditions shown at checkout before confirming. If weather or street conditions affect safety, the Play Granada team will advise on the best available option. Good to know The tour includes training before the route begins. Granada’s historic streets can be narrow, uneven, and busy. The guide may adjust the route to keep the group safe and moving smoothly. Small delays can happen while training riders or adapting to group confidence.
